July 31 Seattle Highland Games at Enumclaw -- fanfare competition in Grade IV, Grade III, and Grade II drum lines. October 14, 15 Annual workshop and National Drum Corps benefit concert with John Scullion (about John), Steve and Scott Robertson. At the Seattle Drum School of Music (link).

Drummers wanting to play in local bagpipe bands and at the Highland Games, Steve will teach the rudiments of pipe band drumming focusing on the traditional massed band beatings for the standard repertoire (Scotland the Brave, Mairie's Wedding, When the Battle's O'er, etc.) in the Saturday morning Beginners class.
